To a human visitor, those images do their job in half a second — a glance is enough to register that you belong to the right circles. They are some of the most persuasive elements on the page, precisely because people read them instantly and emotionally.

A machine does not read them at all. It reads the words and data on your page, and an image, to a machine, is a sealed rectangle of pixels with no meaning attached. Your hard-won trust badge is, as far as the agent is concerned, just a graphic.
